My shopping bags for craft fairs

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I will be attending different craft fairs every month until the end of the year. There is a lot to prepare. I have to divide my time between many different things. Even though I have already drafted the design of a completely new summer skirt, it has to be put on hold as the next craft fair is in 9 days' time. Among many other things, I prepared my shopping bags today. I use environmental-friendly recycled brown paper bags for my sold products. The simple plain bags are not so plain any more.

1) A bag before being pimped.

2) Trying out my logo stamp with red ink

3) Now on the bag

4) I have beautiful green handmade paper. This see-through paper has been used many times and is wrinkled. I will cut the good part and use it to decorate my bags. I don't need much, though.

5) Just tiny leaves. I want the design to be minimalist and everything remains natural.

6) Voila!!

7) And I am almost ready for the fair..

Now I think I need a new tablecloth for the fair. Hopefully, I have time to make one. If so, I shall post it on my blog!

Stay tuned;)

May Flowers

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome to my May Flowers post. I am contributing colorful stems of Dutch tulips to this big May Flowers bouquet arranged my Roxana from Illuminated Perfume.

During the long dark winter months we stay positive and look forward to spring. November is a cold and dark month, but it is the best time to plant the tulip bulbs in the ground. The rain may pour and the snow may fall. Before you realize it, April is here and you see green shoots coming out of the ground. And in May all is in bloom.

Millions of visitors come to the Netherlands each year to experience the beauty of spring. The best place to visit is the Keukenhof, a large spectacular garden opened only for two months a year, from mid March to mid May.

All photo’s shown here were taken by me at the Keukenhof.

Last but not least, I hope you also like the tulips on my Dutchie skirt available on my Etsy shop.

Three new linen tunics now available

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The sun was shining brieftly yesterday and I put my tunics as close as possible to the window when I took their pictures. The design concept of of these three pieces is comfortable and sophisticated. And I think I captured that well in the pictures.

Now available on my Etsy shop

Into pink

-----------------------------------------------------------
I have been waiting for the sun to shine for many days but the sky remains grey. I want to take pictures of the two new designs of my linen tunics. I do not use flash or artificial light when I take pictures of my products because I want the colors displayed on the computer screen to stay as close as possible to the colors in real. Alas, there shines no sun. And the tunics have to wait.

While waiting for the sun to shine I designed a new skirt. I picked pink this time.

One of the reasons that I love my job very much is because of the freedom to create. It is quite challenging to design something with very sweet pink, but also make sure that it remains ThongbaiTatong style.

These photos of work in progress promise you of another fun-in-the-sun ThongbaiTatong skirt, a little bit girly and artsy, something perfect for the coming summer.

You have missed many of my posts

---------------------------------------------------------------------
I know that a lot of my blog followers have missed my latest blog posts. The last one you heard from me was "Spring arrives in the Netherlands' with pictures of tulips in my living room, written on March 15.

But do you know that I have written 10 more posts after that one?

About one month ago I noticed something wrong with my blog updates. One of my blog followers mentioned that my posts didn’t always show up on her dashboard. I thought it was an internal blogger thing as we often get delays, etc. Then I noticed more things here and there, that really confirmed that there was something wrong with my blog.

Yesterday, I seriously tried to figure out what was wrong. I asked one of my friends to help me by comparing her blog and my blog. If it had been some issue about sewing I would have come up the the answer straight away. But when it comes to computer.. I am honestly really hopeless.

A number of people have asked me to add E-mail subscription by FeedBurner on my blog so they can receive updates via E-mail. So I added the form on my blog on March 15. And when I did that I clicked on something which stopped updates on the dashboard of my blog followers as well as on the RSS reader.

I tried to solve the problem last night, with the help of my friend. And it was solved!!! I am so proud of myself ♪ ♫ !!!!

Please feel free to read back my older posts you have missed. I have had some interesting ones, such as
