Outdoor boutique

There are wonderful craft fairs to attend each month. And I am so very addicted to organising my outdoor boutique!! I love to show people my pieces. It is real fun. People can feel and try on my products and you often hear a laughter when you walk along my stall.

I will be taking a break from craft fairs in the next two months or so because I can not sew fast enough. Then I will attend at least 3 craft fairs in September. Wooh.. gotta speed up with sewing.
I need time to design new items too. In a few weeks you will see more fun items for the summer. Please keep in touch.

Some new skirts

These skirts were designed and made a while ago and I already sold some of them at carft fairs. Today I had time to take their pictures and list them for sale on my Etsy shop.

They are real fun and artsy and can be worn as a dress or top as well.

Celebrating 500 sales milestone

My Etsy shop was one year old three weeks ago, on May 23 to be exact. And in the past year I have made almost 500 sales. The number of the sales today is 492. I am so very happy and grateful to my wonderful customers and lovely friends who have helped promote my items in various ways. Thank you! Thank you!!! I love you all!

The customer who buys the 500th item will get a very special gift from me!



And to celebrate the 500 sales milestone I will be giving a discount on ALL items in my shop, ranging from 20 to 40 percent discount. Keep an eye on my shop;) As soon as the 500th item is bought the sales will begin and will last for one week (7 days).

This will happen soon, I promise you;) I have made a reserved listing for one customer. Soon it will be bought. Two other (prospective) customers have just inquired about my jersey skirts. Hope they will buy too;) The 500th sale is not too far away!

What I have been up to

Summer is a busy time for me because it is the wonderful time to participate in craft fairs, standing outside letting people feel and try on my clothes. At the same time I still have to keep up with my Etsy shop, trying to fill the stock. My jersey skirts are very popular both online and off line. It is not easy to keep up with everything when you work alone and there are more things to do than just crafting. Sewing is one of the priorities in my work. I try to sew every day and when I do not have urgent things to do I sew about 7 hours a day, starting from early in the morning, having a break here and there and then sew until deep in the evening.

Apart from sewing, I have also been doing a lot of interesting things in the past couple of weeks. Here are a few things I would like to share.

My green Our Gardens bag comes now with an adjustable strap. It is very handy and easy to wear. And the price does not even change!

I used the flowers I made a long time ago to make key rings, which I give out as gifts to my customers.

Kim from Vilt a la Kim and Nicole from Babongo and Babongo Home stayed with us last weekend. Kim lives in the south of the Netherlands and Nicole lives in the north. We all wanted to participate in the Sunday Market in Amsterdam. My house is closer to Amsterdam (25 mins drive) and the two friends came and stayed with me so we could leave for Amsterdam together.

It was already midnight and Kim still made some felted bottle holders while I packed up my things. In the morning Kim dried the bottles in my garden.

After the market I designed a new jersey skirt with pink and blue fabrics. I also made some price tags for my clothes.

The skirt will be available for sale on my Etsy shop next week.
