No news is good news, they say.
And what is my excuse this time for not blogging for 6 weeks? I make myself sound like someone who likes to make promises and cannot deliver them. I promised new products and a new website. My website is not finished yet and there have not been new products for a while. I have stopped working on the site because I feel that I don’t have a lot of products at this moment. Most of the clothes on my Etsy shop are the last pieces. My priority has been shifted to the introduction of new products.
I would like to show you some of the new items I have been working on in the past months.
One of the 20s dresses I blogged about last time is finished. It is fully lined with a long invisible zipper on the back. Looks so lovely…………..

... EXCEPT the tulip print is upside down!! Believe it or not I did not realize it until the dress was finished, when I was sewing the fringe on the lining. Oh well, I still have a lot of fabric left with the tulips that grow into the air and not into the ground!

And the two piece mod items, skirt and top. There is too much color contrast here. I will have to change the fabrics around.

But I find the combo of skirt and top rather practical. And I will sell them separately and also as a set. You can choose to buy both or only one piece.

I have been making a number of leather bags, too. Some of them are not finished yet. I am waiting for some hardware which I have ordered.
This bag was not finished yet when I showed the pictures last time. It is now done and is one of a kind.

Beautiful vintage fabric combined with lovely green leather.
This bag is finished.

These two bags are finished, but are now waiting for the detachable straps.

This bag is finished;) Not for sale though. I made it for my little niece, Maya. It is made of pink and grey cotton canvas. The bottom and the back is made of mint green leather.

These two bags need some sewing. The linings and the straps are finished. Tomorrow I should be able to finish one of them.

Also a current project. Give me one hour and it is done.

That is all for now.. will TRY to blog more often!

I love the bag on the past picture too. It is very big and super sturdy. Will show a picture of it with a model when it is done.
Just LOVE your bags - you're SO talented, Bai! ANd I never would have noticed that the tulips wer eupside down, LOL!
Love the dress with upside down tulips. And your niece's bag is so cute! The peek at your furnishings is nice, can you show us more of your place? Looks spacious.
Jhitomi, all photoshoots of my clothes take place in my house, often with a backdrop. In the future I will try not to use a blackdrop and use different corners of my house as a background. Then I can share pictures of my living space with everyone. Thank you for asking.
Happy to read about your work again!
It is very hard to run a shop, a blog, find time for new seems and keep in touch with your family and friend!
The green dress is so trendy!
Love the description of your design process!
