New 20s dresses

Do you remember the black 20s dress I was working on a week back and I blogged about it here? I finished it, along with 4 others of similar style. My model and I played with the clothes in front of the camera last Sunday. We couldn't be happier with the results. Thanks to the lovely location, the house of Pim, aka my brother in law.

I only made one of each dress, in size Medium. These dresses are all available now on my Etsy shop, for made to order. I think I will not be designing new pieces for a while because I need to make theses dresses for stock. I prefer having the clothes ready when customers order them. This way, shipping is faster. According to my experience, customers buy my 20s dresses mainly for a themed party set on a certain date. And often, with made to order dresses, the order would not arrive in time for their events.

But I still have at least 3 more things to blog about in the coming weeks.
- Pictures of my customer wearing one of my dresses on her wedding day!
- Pictures of the last mod separates and the cotton blouses on a real model
- Pictures of the leather bags I made a couple of months ago and did not get to take good pictures of them until last Sunday.
